Head Office Team
We have a small, dedicated team of professionals at our Head Office who provide Training, HR, Business Administration and Finance support for the whole of the organisation.
I have been working for Sequence for over 12 years and so have a fantastic knowledge of the organisation. I really enjoy my job and being at the forefront of supporting both staff and individuals using our services brings me a lot of satisfaction. I have a very good relationship with the staff at all of our care homes across London and the south-east and know they trust me to keep things running smoothly.
I am an experienced social care professional with 25 years’ experience in the field. I have worked at a senior level in local government, the voluntary sector and the private care sector. I am passionate about ensuring that Sequence Care Group supports staff to deliver excellent care and that the people we support can access the richer life that they deserve.
I am an experienced Senior Manager in public and private sector social and health care organisations covering all client groups. Previous roles have included business and project management, operations management, business development, quality, compliance and performance roles.
I have worked in health and social care for 12 years, starting as a Support Worker whilst at university. Since then I have worked up through management, becoming a Registered Manager, Area Manager and Business Manager. I joined Sequence Care Group in January 2016 and when Progress Housing was acquired in January 2017, I became the Director and responsible individual, overseeing the operations and integration of the business into the larger group.
I’ve worked in the health and social care sector for 12 years now and I have been lucky to meet many wonderful people throughout my career. My career path started off as a Support Worker, working in a respite unit for people with learning and physical disabilities. I knew right from the start that this was the career path for me. I went on to work as a Senior Support Worker, and from there progressed to Team Leader and then a Registered Manager. I managed a home for 5 adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that may challenge. I’ve been the Area Manager for Progress Housing for 3 years.
I began working in health and social care at 18 as a student nurse, specialising in paediatrics. I then took a change in career and began working with adults with learning and physical disabilities. I started working for Progress Housing in 2009 as a support worker.
I became Deputy Manager of Lulworth in 2013 and progressed to Manager at Blake in 2014.
In 2016 I became the Registered Manager for Blake and Lulworth where I remained very happily until my maternity leave. Subsequently, I have recently been successful in gaining the new post of Deputy Area Manager (a new and exciting challenge).
I have always been incredibly passionate about enabling the individuals we support to experience as many opportunities as possible that will enrich and fulfil their lives.
I maintain a keen interest in supporting individuals with complex health and finding new and innovative ways to motivate and drive staff to deliver high quality care holistically, with the individual at the centre of all we do.
I am an experienced Chief Financial Officer with over 20 years post-qualification experience. Following qualification as a Chartered Accountant I worked in the Big Four Accountancy firms for a further 6 years in both an assurance and corporate finance capacity. I have since worked in the private care sector for the majority of this time spanning from Acute hospitals through to supported living community services and encompassing service user group including Learning disability, Personality Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Mental Health and Neurological Rehabilitation. I have a passion for the sector and ensuring high quality services are delivered in the most cost effective way, in doing so providing the best value for money for our funders.
I began working for Sequence Care Group in 2015 and manage all aspects of sales and marketing. My career in social care spans 30 years and I’ve held a number of senior positions including Operational Manager for Sense supporting 11 services across London and the South East and Registered Manager of a service for people with complex learning needs. I specialise in training risk management, staff development, mentoring and care planning and provide support for numerous professionals and organisations as well as lecturing in social care. My qualifications include Advanced DMS (Level 7), Qualified Behaviour Analyst through the IABA, non-crisis intervention trainer, registered manager’s award level 4 and NVQ level 4 in Care and NVQ assessor award.
Prior to working at Sequence Care Group I worked in various management roles for Tesco’s before becoming a HR Manager there for 5 years. I joined Sequence Care Group in 2015 as a HR Advisor before being promoted to HR Manager. I am CIPD qualified.
I have been involved with Sequence for a number of years. I have held a few positions during my time with the organization including senior support worker, deputy manager, and Registered manager. At the moment I’m the training manager responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the training to existing staff and new staff that join the organization also the development of staff in terms of their career progression i also work closely with the multi disciplinary team.
